The IGL-jet Desk by Ernest Igl
The IGL-jet desk, an icon of 1970’s office furniture is being put back into production by Steelcase. The original desk was designed by Ernest Igl, and has become something of a collectors item, but now Steelcase will produce a new limited edition of 1970 desks, with each copy of the re-edition being individually numbered.
The desk is made from high quality polyurethane thermoset plastic with either silk matte or glossy finish. It’s 100% recyclable, and is available in four colors: pearl-white, aluminium-metallic, deep black, and orange-metallic.
